Fix “The disk is unreadable” error in Mac OS X!
Mac OS X is an advanced and potent operating system, which supports numerous storage media or space such as external hard drive, USB drive, hard drive, CD, DVD and different memory cards to store your important and useful data. The external hard drive works as protection guard which is commonly used to take back up of your precious data, as well as used to transfer data from one system to another. But, in some conditions, the external hard drive might become inaccessible by users and it ends to crucial data loss situation. To get rid from these entire scenarios you require executing Mac data recovery moreover, if you don’t have any recovery.
In some cases Mac OS X operating system becomes inaccessible and due to this reason user may come across some errors messages as discussed below:
“The disk is unreadable: Do you want to initialize it now?”
After this behavior of Mac OS X operating system, when you attempt to fix the problem using Disk Utility tool, further error message may occur stating:
“Verify and Repair volume “disk1s3”
Checking Journaled HFS Plus volume.
Invalid node structure
Invalid B-tree node size
Invalid node structure
Invalid B-tree node size
Volume check failed.
Error: File system verify or repair failed.”
The trouble is caused by damaged or corrupted data structure, profiles of hard drive and library files of Mac OS X system as mentioned in the above error messages. It may occur due to corruption of file system or node structure corruption.
Mac OS X hard drive can not be used until it is initialized. The initialization of disk is performed in three steps, this further result in the loss of precious data. Problem stated above can by caused by several causes, such as file system corruption, invalid system files, iNode corruption etc. it is needed to put back or replace the corrupted data structure. In case user fails in resolving the damaged system files then they can format the hard drive after this the problem gets resolved but entire stored data gets deleted. In this condition it becomes important to use third party software known as Mac Hard Drive Recovery software.
This software has the capability to restore deleted data in a safe and secure location. This software has easy user interface thus it does not require any technical knowledge prior using it.
