Resolve HFS+ partition corruption and error!
The Mac formatted hard drives are either available in Power PC that are compatible with Apple Partition Map or with GUID Partition Table Scheme while formatted PC hard disk uses MBR Scheme. It generally comes with FAT file system and when the fsck run to check or fix the corrupted Mac OS X partition then it reports error.
For this the major reason is that the Unix file system expects it as unique identifier that is known as magic number and not FAT. And when the magic number is not found then it simple makes it a corrupt partition that cannot be repaired. Here it becomes important to get most effective software.
As the Mac OS X operating system complains about fsck that it is not able to repair the corrupted partition with magic numbers. Then Mac OS X installs boot camp to get benefited from its usability. But later it is experienced that it is unable to be detected. And then the user runs the fsck fails to repair the error message of HFS+ partition: “BAD SUPER BLOCK: MAGIC NUMBER WRONG”
Due to all this the data remains inaccessible and worst happens when the data gets deleted. But the fsck could not find the corruption or error, so it is important to partition and then reformat the Mac hard disk so that it could be understood by the fsck utility. For that it is important to click partition button in the Disk Utility and then find out the corrupted or affected partition from the “volume scheme” and then click the option button in that select the GUID partition table, scheme. While you are performing this it is important to make sure to select the “Mac OS Extended option” from format and then click on OK button. With this the HFS+ partition corruption gets resolved.
When the partition gets reformatted then it is important to have updated backup in order to restore the data that have been deleted after formatting the partition.
