Inserted Disk becomes unreadable in Mac OS X under TDM!
In Macintosh there exists a unique boot mode known as Target Disk Mode (TDM) this enables the drives of the targeted computer to act as FireWire mass storage devices. This is of great help as such users can easily transfer the files this can take place when the Mac that supports TDM start, and then in place of loading to operating system it gets attached to the FireWire port of other host system and then user can easily partition, format and transfer the files.
But this process does not work when the user tries to mount the hard drive volume of system that uses Intel then it fails to mount the hard drive and become inaccessible. Due to this reason the stored data are lost or deleted. So it becomes very important to conquer the data loss situation. This may also result in the error message:
“You have inserted a disk containing no volumes that Mac OS X can read”
When user encounters this error then the mounting of the hard drive becomes halted and it results in inaccessibility issue. There are situations in which the Mac OS X 10.3.9 or earlier version may get started with TDM and then it works as expected but on the other hand it may show the error messages. The error dialog box is of three types: Ignore Initialize and Eject and in this situation user can either Eject or Ignore to dismiss it.
Main reason for this error message is that the drive that gets started in TDM becomes unable to be mounted then user might have formatted it in Non Mac format like NTFS or FAT32. NTFS or FAT32 file are unable to read by Mac under the Target Disk Mode.
To resolve unreadable inserted disk in Mac OS X becomes important to format the Mac OS X hard drive that is also in Mac supported file format and use it as startup volume in order to connect it at a FireWire port and have Mac data recovery. On the other hand under TDM, you need an Intel based Mac system that will work as host system to be connected to the target system and being formatted. Formatting will automatically resolve the problem but entire saved data will get deleted. So to restore the deleted data user can use Mac hard drive recovery software.
This software has advanced and powerful algorithm which performs advanced scanning of the hard drive and then restores the deleted or lost data efficiently. So with this software it becomes easy to have Mac file recovery.
