Review of Mac OS X 10.7 Lion
Mac OS X lion version 10.7 is one of the eighth major release of Mac OS X, Apple’s desktop and server operating of Macintosh computer. It is publically exposed on 20th October, 2010. The features that are available in this operating system is inspired by Apple’s IOS (Touchscreen based OS). Some powerful features of this operating system are discussed below:
Mac App Store: The new version of Mac 10.7 also has Mac App store, this has been introduced specially for users to explore more apps, only one click is enough to download, install, or to make update all apps. But unlike IOS version, this is not the only way to get Mac apps.
Multitouch gestures: It has introduced new feature of touch input such as IOS device. Apple is known with the fact that touchscreen will note work on notebooks due to this reason Apple has introduced large horizontal touchscreen input device such as laptop Trackpad and in the desktop get multitouch through Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad. In this the vertical touchscreen looks good but continuous use makes your arm hurt. Due to this reason multitouch has been improved by Apple, with this it is expected that it is going to be the best part of OS 10.7 lion.
LaunchPad: Now user can get new ways to launch, run and switch between the applications in Mac OS X 10.7. It has become easier to find and launch any App, user will only have to click on the launchpad icon and then they can easily get the apps that are required.
Full screen View: With this feature user get the application of full screen mode.
Mission Control: With this feature it has become easier to have better widget, window management and multiple desktop. In Mac OS X 10.7 Lion, user can easily get features such as Expose, Dashboard, Spaces and also full screen views. With the help of Mission Control feature user can easily view whatever is running in Mac and at the same time user can easily move from one application to other.
Some more features are updated Finder, Cloud support, update Dock, Auto-resuming of apps when launched, Auto-save feature and Auto hiding sidebars.
