How to recover lost files from crashed hard drive of iMac? ?
I am using iMac for quite a long time and had a good experience while working with it. But yesterday my iMac stopped booting and every time I try to bootup my iMac it just freezes with an empty blue screen. In fact the iMac is unable to boot in the safe mood as well. I have got my friends laptop and tried to use target mode but nothing happened, my hard drive is not even appeared in my friend\'s laptop. Now I have removed my hard drive from the iMac and put it into a USB enclosure with my friends G5. My disk has mounted successfully but now when I tried to browse through my data folders, it disappears when I click on them. The same behavior is observer on clicking any icon of hard drive. I don\'t know what happened, is there any way by which I can access those data and can recover them back? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
G5 system will surely face difficulty while reading the data that was on the Intel Mac. It will be better if you try some other Intel Mac based system to recover your data from the corrupt hard disk. But didn\'t you backed up your data for the situations like this? I hope not that\'s why you are emphasizing on recovery rather than just restoring the backup up data. Anyways using any Mac Data Recovery software will surely help you out in this situation as it not only recovers your data from the hard drive but also stores it in safe and secure place.
So, just use this tool and recover files from crashed iMac hard drive . But remember to backup your hard rive data at regular basis to avoid any data loss in future situations.
All the best!
