How to solve ‘time machine does not recognize hard drive’ problem? ?

I have been using Mac operating system from five years. Recently I have added a new external hard drive in my Mac system. Since I am a business man so I have to store a large amount of data or need backup regularly and for this I had needed an external hard drive. So I have added this. After some time I need to reinstall the operating system. When I checked the system after installation then I found that the time machine is not able to recognize the both hard drive. It is very frustrating condition for me because all important data was saved in my hard drive has lost. Does anyone know the resolution of this problem? Please tell me as soon as so that I can recover my all data.

Answer 1

Definitely it is frustrating condition for anyone. Time machine utility is used to restore the lost data but in your case the time machine is not able to recognize the hard drive. Since you have both internal hard drive and external hard drive but the same problem occur with both. Behind this problem there may be the case of reinstallation problem. It may be that at the time of reinstallation of operating system your external hard drive was connected internal hard drive and this leads the cause of corruption in hard drive. Due to this the hard drives become damaged. There may be other reasons of this type of problem. But don\'t worry about your data because in such situation you can also recover your data from hard drive by the using of Mac Hard Drive Recovery software. This Software is capable to recover lost, corrupt or formatted data from the damaged hard drive. Even you haven\'t the backup of data then this hard drive recovery software works and recovers inaccessible missing data.
